Regarding coming to banks on 27th September 2026, the issue was taken up with IBA and IBA informed that with the approval of RBI as per BR Act branches will function for the purpose of ATM filling, cash from currency chest to avoid dry ATMs, and some minimum services without violation NI act.

Further we learn that Govt is also taking efforts to make it under NI Act. 

Hence Employees and Officers can go to branches on 27th since it is not a strike day.

Of course eligible compensation, overtime wages will be paid.
